Veterans Day - Slide Show

Veterans Day is Nov 11th.

You will need to photograph this on Veterans Day!!! 

There are many Veterans Day festivities around the area.

Check your newspaper, internet, Television or call the local Chamber of Commerce or Veterans organization, to find out locations and times.

I know there is a Veterans Day parade in Folsom. Mt Vernon mortuary on Greenback Lane has a special presentation (call for times). The VietNam Memorial also has something going on in the morning.

This is a slide show. I am looking for at least 20 images. Close ups, extreme close ups, wide shots. Put special emphasis on tight detail shots and the veterans themselves.

Music: something appropriate (patriotic theme). 

Flowing Water

Must shoot late in day. No sun. Low light. Set your ISO to lowest avail on your camera.

USE TRIPOD!!!. Background must be totally sharp, water must show movement and look like cotton candy.

Rain

Rain. Self explanitory. Must show rain and cold.

"A portrait taken by the photographer of himself, either in a mirror, by means of a remote release, a self timer or "other means"... " I am looking for something that "depicts" you....be it polically, interests, hobbies.Must be original. Make it exciting.

Social Change

If you could change the world with a photograph, what would it be. Make it like a public service announcement. This is a digital assignment and must have "copy" (Text) .

OK, here is a fun one. Think of all those great landscape images that you have seen by Ansel Adams, Ed Weston, National Geographic. Actually, almost every magazine you pick up has some great landscape images.Keep in mind....exposure, composition, time of day and subject...here are some examples...have fun.
