Macro (close up) Photography

Macro photography.  Find a subject that you want to photograph up close and personal. Make some kind of bracket to hold the subject still. Use your tripod. These are critical as your depth of field and focus is so shallow you will not be in focus.  Set your camera to the "flower" or macro setting. and go.  Make it interesting. Show texture.  Oh, by the way NO FLOWERS!!!!

Coffee (or another hot beverage)(even soup)

I know you guys will enjoy this... the coffee house lifestyle.  5x7 @150 dpi PSD.
I want to see the most creative image of a basically boring subject. Everyone has the same subject, but, we are looking for the most creative. Watch your lighting and white balance.

Drive Along

This week, you need to do a creative image taken from an automobile. Not a car just driving by, but while riding....do not do this while driving. Try multiple different angles and get creative.

Digital Special Effects

Take an existing image, a great one, and make 3 different effects in Photoshop on the same image.
Not just using filters. You can start with filters, but, must expand on it using adjustments and multiple filters.
Then take all 3 and put on new project, along with the original image and put on same page.

Colorize

This weeks assignment is colorizing of old black and white photos.
Take your Restoration project (finished one) and colorize it.  Using your airbrush tool, on "color" mode, Low Opacity. Paint the color you wish over the area.
Then take the Black and white image, along with the color and make a new project and, like on the restoration, black and white and color on same page.
