Monster Lighting

You have lots of "power", as a photographer. You have the power to make someone look as good or as bad, as you choose using lighting.
To turn someone into a monster, bring the light down below subjects chin and point it upwards. No other lights on.  You have a monster.

Commercial Interior

You will need to find a commercial building, void of people. Shooting on wide angle create an architectural image using natural light (no flash).

Wide Angle

Wide angle lens' are for creativity. When you get close, with a wide angle, you get distortion.  Whatever gets closer to the lens is very large, whatever is farther away gets very small. Use this to your advantage and create something that JUMPS out at you.

Fill Flash Portrait

Finally, you get to use your built in flash.  Must be a portrait, must be backlit and use fill flash to fill in the shadows. Shoot late in the day. When you have pictures where the foreground is too dark while the background seems to be correctly exposed, then using fill-in flash may be a technique worth learning about. Using fill-in flash, as the name implies, is to use flash to fill-in light where it is deficient. This is usually the situation when you are in the shadows and shooting through objects in the foreground that are acting as a frame.

A still life image.  No people, no commercial product, just a simple arrangement. OK, you can do flowers, but, it better be a floral arrangement, not a singular flower.

Tools

Get creative. You can shoot this at school in tent, at home by window light, in your dads workshop. Try to come up with something creative. Antique hand tools have nice patina and texture to them.  5x7 150dpi psd.

Fire and Smoke

Hot flames or smoke. No people, just product. Incense work well, as well as open flames.
